Boil water notice lifted in Holiday

By Times Staff Writer
Published July 22, 2005

HOLIDAY - U.S. Water Services lifted a boil water notice Thursday for customers of Anclote Utilities in Holiday.

The crews have repaired the broken water main and a series of tests show the water is now safe for drinking and cooking, the utility reported. The utility had issued the boil water notice earlier this week after the water main break, since a disruption in water pressure could cause bacteria to breed in the stagnant water.
