Hot Tickets: The welcome mat's out at Pooh Corner

By Times Staff Writer
Published August 4, 2005

The newest stage production for children from Disney and Feld Entertainment brings Winnie the Pooh and his pals to the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center from Friday through Sunday.

The stage version of the Hundred Acre Wood may be the most interesting star of this production. It was designed by Anna Louizos, a Broadway veteran who did the sets for Avenue Q and Steel Magnolias.

Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh opens at 7 p.m. Friday. Other shows are at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10-$36. Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center is at 1010 N MacInnes Place, Tampa. 813 229-7827 or www.tbpac.org
