HURRICANE HINTS

Carry identification if you have to evacuate. Police may set up checkpoints to allow only residents back into storm-damaged areas. You may have to prove you live there.

Don't use matches in a storm-damaged area until all gas lines are checked for leaks.

Have a camera or camcorder ready to record damage before you begin home repairs.
