LOCATION: 5200 W Kennedy Blvd.

DEVELOPER: Tarragon South Development Corp. of Orlando.

DESCRIPTION: Former apartment complex with 16 three-story buildings and 166 units. Floor plans are one bedroom and one bathroom, two bedroom and two bathrooms, and three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and range from 834 to 1,867 square feet.

PRICE: $230,000 to $430,000.

AMENITIES: Attached garages or covered parking for each unit, security alarms, nine-foot ceilings with crown molding, Roman bathtubs, hardwood floors, cherry wood cabinets and granite counter tops in kitchens, business meeting room, fitness room, pool area with pavilions, billiards room, and a clubhouse.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "Its location in the West Shore area is extremely well suited for a condominium conversion," Tarragon executive vice president Tony Martin said of Cordoba Beach Park, which was previously Gables Beach Park townhome apartments. Martin said before Tarragon purchased the property, "All the units were self-contained with all the upper end amenities (already installed). It's laid out extremely well. It's got a look. It's got a feel."

TIMELINE: The condominium conversion started in early July and was completed in a few weeks. The first unit sold on July 15.
