ALEXANDER TAILORING has opened a new location at 5111 Ehrlich Road. They offer custom tailoring, alterations, reweaving, clothing remodeling and custom embroidery. Call (813) 962-8049.

LA JOYA AT THE VILLAGE, a jewelry store, has opened at 4534-A W Village Drive. They sell jewelry and semiprecious stones, high-end costume jewelry and consignment clothing. They also host once-a-month martini parties. Hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

PHILIPPINE GROCERY has opened at 13934 W Hillsborough Ave. They sell fresh, frozen and ready to eat foods, as well as phone cards, DVD rentals, Indian spices and vegetables. Hours are 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Call (813) 854-4546.
