Submarine Veterans seek memberships

U.S. Submarine Veterans is seeking to expand membership for all local sub vets. The Tang Base, a chapter of U.S. Submarine Veterans, is made up of Navy veterans and active duty personnel who are qualified in submarines.
The base supports the local Veterans Administration, provides memorial services and supports the troops both overseas and in-country. Call 734-1787.
Historical Society seeks donationsThe Clearwater Historical Society's Plumb House Museum is in need of donations of period furniture and artifacts dating from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.

Food pantry seeks volunteer grant writerAn experienced, volunteer grant writer needed for FEAST, a not-for-profit, nonsectarian food pantry located in Palm Harbor, serving over 1,400 families monthly.

Dunedin Art Center registering for fallThe Dunedin Fine Art Center's Gladys Douglas School of the Arts is registering for fall classes. Instruction is available for both kids and adults, with discounted tuition rates for center members.
