"FRAGILE FLORIDA: WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS BY TAYLOR IKIN' continues through Sept. 4 at Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs (a quarter mile west of U.S. 19). The paintings are of environmentally protected lands. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays (admission $5 adults, $4 seniors; free to children and students); and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays (admission free).

BIRD LOVER JERRI SOLICITO's artwork created from bird feathers arranged on canvas continues through Wednesday in the Upstairs Gallery at Pasco Arts Council's art center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Also in the exhibit are watercolors, oils and charcoals done by Leonard Solicito. Most of the works are for sale. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
AUDITIONS AND WORKSHOPS
RICHEY SUNCOAST THEATRE will hold auditions for the Neil Simon comedy, Rumors, at 7 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday at the theater, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Roles are for five men and five women ages 25 and older. Production dates are Oct. 20-Nov. 6. The director is Saul Leibner.
AVENUE PLAYERS THEATRE will hold auditions for the 1900 French farce The Boor Hug from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sept. 19 and Sept. 20 in the auditorium of the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art on the St. Petersburg College Tarpon Springs campus, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs. THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL will be held Sept. 2, 3 and 4 at Sertoma Youth Ranch off Clay Hill Road northwest of Dade City. (Take Exit 293 off Interstate 75 and go east on County Road 41, then north on Clay Hill.) Entertainers include Williams and Clark Expedition, Flint River Boys, Blue Moon Rising, the Gillis Brothers, Tater Hill, Sawgrass Drifters, Scattered Grass and Jeanette Williams. Three-day tickets are $39 if purchased by today, $45 at the gate. Daily tickets are $20 Sept. 2 and 3, $12 on Sept. 4. Electrical campsites are $20. Motels are available in Dade City and Brooksville. PIONEER DAYS FESTIVAL will be held Sept. 3, 4 and 5 at Pioneer Florida Museum and Village off U.S. 301 northeast of Dade City. There will be arts, crafts, children's activities, an 1880s cowman's camp, a quilt display, ghost stories, storytelling, Civil War re-enactments, the 42nd Highland Royal Regiment British 1763-1783, antique cars and tractors, large-scale model trains, historical slide presentations, ongoing entertainment, a variety of food, trash and treasure sale, and other events. All 10 historical buildings, the museum and the old Trilby Depot will be open. The first 500 paid admissions on Sept. 3 will get a free pancake breakfast. Admission is $6 adults, $2 ages 12 and younger. Parking is free.
A VIDEO OF THE DANCE, The Little Hunchbacked Horse, will be shown at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 3 at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art auditorium. The museum is at 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs, on the St. Petersburg College Tarpon Springs campus (a quarter mile west of U.S. 19). Admission is free.
