The following companies were recognized at the 2005 Southeastern Building Conference in Orlando: The Fechtel Co., 3036 W Bearss Ave., Tampa, received three Aurora Awards for best kitchen in the homes priced from $1.5-million to $2-million, best energy-efficient home and best waterwise home for its Villa Serena model home at Stillwater in Northwest Hillsborough County ; Alvarez Homes, 3617 Hudson Lane, Tampa, won an Aurora Award for best detached single-family home for homes priced from $2-million to $3-million for its Miramar model at MiraBay; Hannah-Bartoletta Homes, 19001 Sun Lake Blvd., Lutz, won an Aurora Award for best detached single-family home for homes priced from $500,000 to $750,000 for its Sanderling model at MiraBay; and Sabal Homes, 5721 Osprey Ridge Drive, Lithia, won four Aurora Awards for best detached single-family home design, best kitchen, best bath and interior detailing for homes priced from $1-million to $2-million for its Tradewinds model, and two Aurora Awards for best detached single-family home design and for best interior merchandising for homes priced $750,000 to $1-million for its Gulfview model at MiraBay.
