Bob Larrivee has been appointed to the Agency Automation and Technology Task Force of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents Membership and Operations Council. The Task Force will monitor technology advances and assess their impact on insurance agencies within Florida. Larrivee is director of sales and marketing for the Americas at Docubase Systems Inc., Clearwater.

FINANCIAL

Marc Ellis has been named senior vice president and chief compliance officer at GunnAllen Financial, Tampa. Ellis was a financial services consultant for the Capital Markets Co., New York.

Dr. Zigmund S. "Ziggy" Kryszak has been appointed senior vice president, organizational development, of the GTE Federal Credit Union, Tampa. Kryszak was president of CM Services, Michigan.

LEGAL

Stann Givens has been elected to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Florida Chapter, and will serve as a vice president. Givens is founding partner at Knox & Givens, Tampa.

Roxanne Kosarzycki has been named Corporate Counsel of the Year by the Corporate Counsel Section of the Hillsborough Bar Association and the West Central Florida Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Kosarzycki is general counsel for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The law firm of Hill, Ward & Henderson PA, Tampa, announces these appointments: Gregory P. Brown is the recipient of the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award from the Young Lawyers Division of the Hillsborough County Bar Association; and Scott A. McLaren has been appointed to the board of trustees for the Academy of Holy Names of Florida Inc. and to the board of directors of Special Olympics Florida. Brown and McLaren are shareholders in the commercial litigation group.

Stephen Tabano has been appointed chairman of the Florida Bar's Eminent Domain Committee for 2006. Tabano is a shareholder and practices in the areas of eminent domain and condemnation, inverse condemnation, property rights and commercial litigation at the law firm of Trenam Kemker, Tampa.

MISCELLANEOUS

The Florida State Fair Authority, Tampa, announces these appointments: Denise Shreaves, sales and marketing assistant; and Vina Jean Banks, agribusiness manager. Shreaves was Southeast regional marketing coordinator at the WISH Center, Tampa; and Banks was agribusiness coordinator.

NONPROFIT

Leslie F. Taylor has been named a gift planner at Hernando-Pasco Hospice. Taylor was a community-based matchmaker for Big Brother Big Sisters of Hernando County.

ORGANIZATIONS

Nancy K. Doyal has been named executive director of the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Doyal was director of operations and programming at the Michigan Theater Foundation.

Colleen M. Fitzgerald has been elected director of the Tampa Kiwanis Foundation Inc. Fitzgerald is an associate and concentrates in the areas of securities and commercial litigation at the law firm of GrayRobinson, Tampa.

Dennis F. Heinrichs has been elected treasurer of the board of directors of the United Network for Organ Sharing. Heinrichs is president and chief operating officer of the LifeLink Foundation, Tampa.

REAL ESTATE

Dan Morris has been named director of real estate at Opus South Corp., Tampa. Morris was vice president of the Hogan Group, Tampa.

RETAIL

The Westfield Group announces these appointments: Amy DiTrapani, assistant general manager at Westfield Brandon; and Veronique Mann, assistant general manager at Westfield Countryside. DiTrapani was a certified trainer, sales hostess and management intern at Walt Disney World; and Mann was a property accountant for Westfield Southgate in Sarasota.

TRANSPORTATION

The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority, Tampa, announces these new members of its board of directors: John Byczek, John Dingfelder and Ronald Govin . Byczek is financial services director at Northwestern Mutual, Tampa; and Dingfelder and Govin are Tampa City Council members.
