The Chabad Jewish Center of St. Petersburg, a Jewish outreach, educational and social service organization, has launched a new interactive Web site, www.ChabadSP.com The site will keep visitors informed about upcoming events, Jewish learning and holidays. It features links to hundreds of Web pages, with information that includes practical how-to guides to mystical and Talmudic insights, interactive games and a worldwide searchable database of services.

The site also offers thoughts of the Torah, an online magazine and a thought for the day. It also can help visitors with daily Torah portions by providing audio and video links to Torah classes.

There is an "Ask Moses" link, where rabbis offer live, one-on-one answers to questions. The site also gives information about Chabad Lubavitch centers and Sabbath candlelighting times worldwide.

The Chabad Jewish Center of St Petersburg, 6151 Central Ave., serves south Pinellas County. Call 344-4900.
