A 19-year-old woman and her 17-year-old boyfriend were arrested on Monday after a Hernando County Sheriff's Office detective found two stolen motorcycles, loaded guns and drugs in their home, authorities said.
Patricia Elizabeth Rowe was charged with one count of cocaine possession, one count of opium possession and contributing to the delinquency of a child.
Her boyfriend, who is not being named because of his age, faced similar charges in addition to two counts of grand theft auto.
Acting on a search warrant, detectives went to 12104 Tallwood St., Spring Hill, where they found two motorcycles, two bags containing opium and cocaine, and nine firearms, including handguns, shotguns and an assault rifle. The firearms, loaded with ammunition, were found beneath a bed in the room of Rowe's 2-year-old daughter.
The couple were both charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child because the weapons were placed where the young child could reach them, the report stated.
Rowe was being held at the Hernando County Jail on $6,000 bail. Her boyfriend, who told detectives he "takes care of (Rowe's) 2-year-old child as if she was his own," was taken to a Juvenile Detention Center.
