HATTIESBURG, MISS.: Russell Strempler sleeps in the bed of his pickup truck Wednesday with all the supplies his family could grab before fleeing their Picayune, Miss., home. His wife, son and two daughters sleep in the cab. The Stremplers spent the night in the Hattiesburg Sams Club parking lot.
