STEPHEN NICHOLAS, LB, USF: Defensive leader had two sacks and forced a fumble on Penn State's opening drive to set the tone for USF.

PAT JULMISTE, QB, USF: Came off the bench with poise, throwing two touchdowns and completing 60 percent of his throws against a tough defense.

TONY HUNT, RB, PENN STATE: Rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown, and his 70-yard run in the fourth quarter put a close game to bed.

99,235: Attendance, the most ever to see a USF game and the 10th largest ever to see a Big East team play.

45.3: Punting average for USF's Brandon Baker, including a career-long 68-yarder that ranks as the second-longest in Bulls history.
