TAMPA - Cambridge (1-1) scored all of its points in the first quarter to down Providence Christian 21-9 on Saturday night.
Running back Chris Widell had 182 yards on 20 carries to lead the Lancers.
"Our offensive line came up big for us in opening the holes," Cambridge coach Rick Shears said. "They totally controlled the game."
Austin Welti had a 72-yard run to open scoring for Cambridge. Josh Lockwood hauled in a 35-yard scoring strike from quarterback Korey Sims, and Michael Delarosa closed out scoring by returning an interinterception 35 yards for a touchdown.
