Got a minute? Miles Hodish, Sr., long snapper

You're the long snapper. Did your younger brother, Jeff, win that job at the Citadel?
I'm not sure he's starting. He was at the start of two-a-days. I haven't heard much from him. He doesn't have a cell phone up there; cadets aren't allowed, I guess.
Surely you guys have exchanged some smack talk, though?
We have. Over the summer, I went home for a couple of weeks. It was fun. I can't wait. I don't know how many people are looking forward to the Citadel game, but it'll probably be one of the biggest games of my career.
How did you find out FSU would be playing that game?
My dad actually e-mailed it to me and I was blown away. Florida State hasn't played a school that small in a long time and it just happened to work out that my brother was going to be there. I've been counting down the days. I actually bought one of those countdown timers.
January must have been a big month for you, finally receiving a scholarship.
I had to work for it. I didn't get it last year when I was starting. I guess they wanted to see what I could do and they were happy with my performance and sure enough.
