African-American Club seeks after-school tutor

NEW PORT RICHEY - The African-American Club of West Pasco is looking for an education director for its after-school program. The job requires about six hours a week and involves tutoring children and helping boost their self-esteem.

The school is at 6105 Pine Hill Road in the old Booker T. Washington School.

Meanwhile, the club announced new hours for its after-school program, which now will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The after-school program is multicultural and welcomes all children to take part in its programs, which include dance, arts and crafts, tutoring, sewing, sports and field trips.
