CRYSTAL RIVER - A 31-year-old Crystal River woman was arrested Monday night after she was accused of performing sex acts on a 14-year-old Citrus County girl and showing her pornography, a Citrus County Sheriff's Office report said.

Sherry Nicole Fowler of 9455 W Milwaukee Court was arrested at 11:52 p.m. She faces charges of lewd or lascivious battery on a child between 12 and 16 years of age and protection of minors against obscenity, the report said.

Fowler and another suspect, who is being held at the Marion County jail on unrelated charges, performed sex acts on the girl at Fowler's residence in August, the report said. The girl told deputies Fowler gave her a pill that might have been ecstasy before they performed sex acts and watched pornographic videos.

When Deputy Steve Conley first questioned Fowler, she said she had no knowledge of the incident. She later told deputies they were involved in a "threesome."

She was taken to the Citrus County jail, where bail was set at $7,000.
