PALM HARBOR - Two men with pistols robbed the CVS drug store at 30387 U.S. 19 N about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

They entered the store and rounded up the four employees, sheriff's officials said.

One robber held the employees at gunpoint while the other jumped over the counter to the pharmacy, deputies said. The robbers took cash and drugs before forcing the employees into a bathroom and running out. They dropped an undisclosed amount of cash in the store while fleeing.

Deputies described the both robbers as white men in their mid-20s wearing white tennis shoes and dark bandanas over their faces.

One was light-skinned, stood 6-foot-1 and weighed 200 to 215 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt over a white tank top, baggy black or blue shorts with a white stripe down the sides, white socks and a black beanie cap.

The second suspect was 5-foot-7 and weighed about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, baggy light-blue below-the-knee shorts and a red baseball cap with a light-colored emblem.

Anyone with information about the holdup is asked to contact sheriff's Cpl. Paul Martin at (727) 582-6200 or Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-873-8477.
