CRYSTAL RIVER - The fully dressed body of a man was found floating in a small pond off Moss Rose Terrace on Sunday afternoon. The dive team from the Citrus County Sheriff's Office was sent to recover the body, which was spotted by a passer-by. The body had no obvious signs of trauma, said sheriff's spokeswoman Gail Tierney. The area is off Fort Island Trail, about halfway to the gulf. Sheriff's officials Sunday could not confirm the identity or the cause of death but said it wasn't ruling out homicide until autopsy results are available.
