What was your mind-set coming into this season?
My whole outlook on this season is that it's a blessing from God that I was able to come back. It looked kind of bad last year. I thought that was going to be my last year. I ended up getting hurt and the Lord brought me back for a reason.
How did you deal with the waiting?
The biggest thing that got me through it was prayer. I had a lot of people praying for me. (Former FSU basketball star) Adrian Crawford, who I go to church with, he's been kind of my spiritual leader. He's been a big part of my life.
What do you like to do other than Madden?
My girlfriend and I like to go to movies. We could be Siskel and Ebert as much as we go to movies. If you're ever looking for me, and can't get hold of me, just go to the movie theater, I'll be there.
