THE HOT TICKET

Patriots (1-1) at Steelers (2-0)

4:15 p.m., Ch. 10

THE SCOOP: This rematch of last season's AFC Championship Game features teams that have won a combined 32 of 36 regular-season games the past two seasons. Yowsa! Oct. 31, Pittsburgh ended New England's NFL-record 21-game winning streak. Now, the Steelers have won 16 straight regular-season games with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who is much more polished than he was in January. The Patriots are not the powerhouse they once were ... but the Steelers might be.

KORTH'S PICK: Steelers 17, Patriots 10

THE BUCS

Bucs (2-0) at Packers (0-2)

1 p.m., Ch. 13

THE SCOOP: For the first time since 1989, the Bucs win at Lambeau.

KORTH'S PICK: Bucs 17, Packers 7

THE MATCHUPS

Panthers (1-1) at Dolphins (1-1)

1 p.m.

THE SCOOP: Like defense? Sure you do. But who will score first, Jason Taylor or Julius Peppers?

KORTH'S PICK: Panthers 13, Dolphins 6

Falcons (1-1) at Bills (1-1)

1 p.m.

THE SCOOP: Gee, think the Falcons will blitz J.P. Losman much?

KORTH'S PICK: Falcons 21, Bills 10

Bengals (2-0) at Bears (1-1)

1 p.m.

THE SCOOP: Chicago's defense slows Cincy's No. 1-ranked offense.

KORTH'S PICK: Bears 20, Bengals 17

Browns (1-1) at Colts (2-0)

1 p.m.

THE SCOOP: The Colts offense finally hits its stride.

KORTH'S PICK: Colts 45, Browns 6

Titans (1-1) at Rams (1-1)

1 p.m.

THE SCOOP: The Titans fall more than a yard short in this Super Bowl XXXIV rematch.

KORTH'S PICK: Rams 31, Titans 14

Jaguars (1-1) at Jets (1-1)

1 p.m., Ch. 10

THE SCOOP: Byron Leftwich is gimpy. That's trouble for the Jets.

KORTH'S PICK: Jags 17, Jets 14

Raiders (0-2) at Eagles (1-1)

1 p.m.

THE SCOOP: Moss, Owens, Sapp. Pick a villain, any villain.

KORTH'S PICK: Eagles 30, Raiders 13

Saints (1-1) at Vikings (0-2)

1 p.m.

THE SCOOP: On the road since August, the Saints are too weary to intercept Daunte Culpepper.

KORTH'S PICK: Vikings 16, Saints 13

Cardinals (0-2) at Seahawks (1-1)

4:05 p.m.

THE SCOOP: At some point, the Cardinals are going to put it all together. But not today.

KORTH'S PICK: Seahawks 21, Cardinals 14

Cowboys (1-1) at 49ers (1-1)

4:05 p.m.

THE SCOOP: Cowboys, Parcells take out their short-week frustration on the unsuspecting 49ers.

KORTH'S PICK: Cowboys 28, 49ers 7

Giants (2-0) at Chargers (0-2)

8:30 p.m., ESPN

THE SCOOP: Eli? Hey, the Chargers have bigger issues. No team is more desperate for a win.

KORTH'S PICK: Chargers 24, Giants 13

MNF: Chiefs (2-0) at Broncos (1-1)

BYE: Ravens, Texans, Lions, Redskins.

THE TALLY

LAST WEEK: 8-8 overall, 6-10 against the spread.

SEASON: 17-15 overall, 15-17 against the spread.

Apparently, I'm going to keep picking the Vikings until they win.
