The musical, which has been revised since receiving some bad reviews when it opened in Atlanta last year, will be called Oprah Winfrey Presents: The Color Purple.

Singer hurt in crash

R&B crooner D'Angelo says he's ready to record after a car crash left him hospitalized for several days. "I banged up my ribs but other than that I'm fine," he said Monday. D'Angelo, 31, born Michael Eugene Archer, was in a 2003 Hummer on Sept. 19 when it struck a fence and he was ejected, police reported. Authorities had said Archer was initially listed in critical condition.
