Driver run over by her car

CLEARWATER - A 69-year-old Clearwater woman remained in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center on Monday after she was run over by her own car Saturday. Olga Bochis, 2535 Estancia Blvd., was sitting in her driveway in her 1998 Lincoln sedan when she got out to retrieve something from her house about 10 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. She left the car running, but the car shifted into reverse when she got out. The open door knocked Bochis to the ground and the left front tire hit her. "We don't know if it was in neutral and slipped into gear or if it was in park and it malfunctioned," said Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Larry Coggins on Monday. "It was strictly an accident."
