Safety Harbor middle schoolers excel at Duke's Talent Identification Program

SAFETY HARBOR - Safety Harbor Middle School students excelled in Duke University's Talent Identification Program this year. Thirteen students received state recognition awards. Students Philip Bauer, Gautam Balagopala and Sankar Kannusamy were recognized for the national grand awards. Bauer also received the Duke University Bevan Full Merit Scholarship, which is awarded to the top 20 high scorers out of 81,308 participants from 37 states and nine foreign countries.
