Stroll the downtown St. Petersburg waterfront with your favorite four- and two-legged friends and enjoy the mile walk or form a team of friends, family and co-workers and collect pledges for the Oct. 29 event, which will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Spend the day with other animal lovers and take in the canine activities, contests, entertainment, prizes and refreshments. Adoptable SPCA pets will be available and 100 percent of donations help improve the lives animals waiting for a home.
