Also opening: All muscles, no brain

By STEVE PERSALL
Published September 29, 2005

Into the Blue (PG-13) makes it an endless summer with a far-fetched plot and skimpy swimwear. Where was this movie in July when such beefcake, cheesecake and baloney was easier to swallow?

Representing the hunk contingent is Paul Walker, whose abdominal muscles could tenderize flank steak. On behalf of all hotties is Jessica Alba, who already pepped up pulses this year in Sin City and her Fantastic Four costume. They play Jared and Sam, whose Bahamas scuba diving excursion with equally chiseled friends (Scott Caan, Ashley Scott) takes a nasty turn after they discover a sunken airplane.

Inside the aircraft is a cache of cocaine they decide to sell to islanders for extra tequila cash. But wait. The evil drug trafficker who lost the cocaine wants it back and, in true movie villain tradition, will stop at nothing to get it.
