Mother, toddler hit by car

A 30-year-old woman and her 3-year-old daughter were hit on Friday evening by a car in Pinellas Park, police said. The woman later died, while her daughter remained in critical condition Saturday.

PINELLAS PARK - A 30-year-old woman has died and her 3-year-old daughter is in critical condition after they were struck by a car Friday evening in Pinellas Park, police said.

Teresa A. Anderson, of Pinellas Park, died mid-morning Saturday at Bayfront Medical Center, according to police. The daughter, who was at All Children's Hospital, was in critical condition as of Saturday evening.

Anderson was pushing her daughter, Sage Yoho, in a plastic stroller east across 49th St. just before 9 p.m. Friday, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.

Anderson pushed the stroller into the path of a vehicle traveling north on 49th St. The front of the car hit both Anderson and her daughter. The driver of the car, Amy M. Walters, 26, of Pinellas Park, was not injured.
