ORLANDO - Steven Moffett passed for 290 yards and three touchdowns to lead Central Florida to its third straight win, 38-17 over Memphis on Saturday night.

UCF is the third team in 55 years to win three straight one season after going winless, joining Boston College (1979) and South Carolina (2000).

Freshman Kevin Smith had 164 yards rushing and a touchdown, fueling UCF's season-high 261 yards on the ground.

Memphis tailback DeAngelo Williams, who entered as the leading rusher in Division I-A, had 136 yards on 14 carries.

DELAWARE STATE 17, B-CC 0: Rodney Roy ran for 99 yards and one touchdown for host Delaware State. B-CC entered as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's top scoring team at 39.2 points per game and had not been shut out since a 34-0 loss to Georgia Southern in the 2002 Division I-AA playoffs.

BALL ST. 60, W. MICHIGAN 57 (5OT): Brian Jackson's 30-yard field goal ended the longest game in Mid-American Conference history in Kalamazoo, Mich. The teams combined for 1,090 yards of total offense and 16 touchdowns in a game that took four hours. It was the longest NCAA game this season, but two overtimes short of the NCAA record. Western's Nate Meyer had two chances to win it, missing a 49-yard field goal on the last play of regulation and a 32-yarder on the final play of the fourth overtime.

HOUSTON 35, TULANE 14: Ryan Gilbert rushed for 130 yards and scored three touchdowns as the Cougars won in Lafayette, La.
