TUESDAY: Apple Computer Inc. and Gannett Co. release earnings.

WEDNESDAY: Former WorldCom chief Bernard Ebbers reports to prison; Media General Inc., Virginia owner of the Tampa Tribune and WFLA-TV, among those reporting earnings; Tampa Bay Technology Forum will host a regional leadership forum.

THURSDAY: Commerce Department reports on international trade for August.

FRIDAY: Labor Department reports on consumer price index for September; Commerce Department reports on retail sales for September and business inventories for August; Federal Reserve reports on industrial production for September; General Electric Co., Knight Ridder Inc. and the E.W. Scripps Co. among those reporting earnings.
