1. Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit - Nick Park already won two Academy Awards for short films starring these wonderful characters. Now he's a candidate for a third, in the feature length animation category.
2. In Her Shoes - Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette are combative sisters in a smartly written, well-acted example of the "chick flick" genre.
3. Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival - This annual showcase of independent cinema offers movie lovers something completely different.
4. A History of Violence - A small-town nice guy (Viggo Mortensen) may also be a cold-blooded mob killer. David Cronenberg's film is more about identity than mayhem.
5. Proof - The Tony- and Pulitzer-winning story doesn't always make a smooth transition to the screen, but Gwyneth Paltrow and Hope Davis shine in this story of math and madness.
