LAFAYETTE, Calif. - Investigators scoured the San Francisco Bay area home of defense attorney and TV legal analyst Daniel Horowitz for clues Sunday after Horowitz's wife was found dead in the entryway of the couple's home in Lafayette, authorities said.

Contra Costa County authorities were investigating the Saturday death of 52-year-old Pamela Vitale as a homicide, said sheriff's office spokesman Jimmy Lee.

Horowitz worked as a freelance legal analyst in the Scott Peterson trial. He has appeared frequently on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News.

WASHINGTON - The government is warning doctors to stop using Enteryx, an injection used to treat acid reflux disease, saying it has been connected to serious health problems and, in at least one case, a death.

Many of the problems with Enteryx have occurred when it is injected imprecisely, the Food and Drug Administration said.
