Father Tryfon's funeral Friday

TARPON SPRINGS - The funeral for Father Tryfon Theophilopoulos, 70, who died Tuesday, is scheduled for Friday at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, where he served three decades as dean.
The viewing will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the cathedral, 36 N Pinellas Ave., with a Trisagion service at 7 p.m. Metropolitan Alexious will preside over the funeral, scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, preceded by an Orthros at 8:30 a.m. and a Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m.
After the funeral, the burial will be at the Cycadia Cemetery, 1005 E Tarpon Ave., and the makaria will be at the Theofilos Hall in the Spanos Pappas Community Center, 328 Pinellas Ave. N.
