Here's a look at business happenings in the area:

COFFEE SHOP: Sumatra Coffee Co. opened Oct. 11 at 13330 Lincoln Road, Riverview. Along with serving a variety of coffee, the shop offers bagels, pastries, salads and sandwiches. There is also a dry cleaning dropoff in the store, which offers next-day service. Sumatra hours are 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Call 671-6875.

BRAIN THERAPY: The CrossRoads Center, a new brain therapy office, opened Sept. 19 at 427 Lithia Pinecrest Road. The center focuses on a nonmedicated approach to correcting depression, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and other neurological imbalances. Office hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Call 661-7759.

INDIAN GROCER: Best of India grocery store opened in August in the Eastshore Plaza at 1749 E State Road 60, Valrico. The grocer stocks Indian and Pakistani spices and receives fresh vegetables every Friday. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Call 681-4884.
