Air Force Airman Michael D. Bryant graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Bryant is the son of Sandy Bryant of Palm Harbor, and is a 2001 graduate of Palm Harbor University High School.

Air Force Airman Robert B. Grajirena graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Grajirena is the son of Richard Grajirena of Dunedin, and is a 2003 graduate of Dunedin High School.

Air Force Airman Judd B. Nichols has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Nichols is the son of David Nichols of Holiday, and Teresa Nichols of Tarpon Springs. He is a 2005 graduate of Palm Harbor University High School.

Navy Seaman Recruit Samuel Xiong , son of Khu X. Xiong of Largo, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. During the eight-week program, Xiong completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Chad D. Rabon , son of Kathy S. and Bruce D. Rabon of Clearwater, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. During the eight-week program, Rabon completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness. Rabon is a 2000 graduate of Clearwater Central Catholic High School.

Army Pfc. Steven J. Christner has graduated from basic combat military training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He studied the Army mission and received instruction in drill and ceremonies, rifle marksmanship, weapons, map reading, tactics, armed and unarmed combat, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, Army history, core values and traditions, and special training in human relations. Christner is the son of Edward and Charity Christner of Largo.

Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Suoleantopoulos is the brother of Alexander Suoleantopoulos of Tarpon Springs.

Mark R. Lewis II graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as "Operation Warrior Forge," at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. The primary focus of the course is to develop and evaluate each cadet's officer potential as a leader. The cadet command assesses each cadet's performance and progress in officer traits, qualities and professionalism. Lewis is the son of Mark R. Lewis of Largo, and Sharon L. Touchton of St. Petersburg. He is a 2001 graduate of St. Petersburg Catholic High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 2005 from Florida International University.
