PLANT CITY - A Plant City man was killed Friday when his 1993 Ford struck a power pole on Jim Johnson Road just south of Alexander Street around 8:40 p.m., Plant City police reported.
The victim was identified as Claudio Negrete of 229 Thrasher Road. Police gave no age for Negrete. He had no passengers when his car crashed, according to the report.
