NORMAN, Okla. - Rhett Bomar's 21-yard touchdown to Juaquin Iglesias in the second overtime lifted Oklahoma to a 37-30 win over Baylor.
With Adrian Peterson out with a sprained ankle and backup Kejuan Jones suspended, Jacob Gutierrez made his first start at tailback and had 173 yards and two touchdowns for the Sooners. He scored on runs of 7 and 28 yards during a 24-point second quarter.
The Bears rallied from 11 down to pull within two on a 55-yard touchdown from Shawn Bell to Dominique Zeigler with 1:17 left. Bell then scrambled for the two-point conversion.
The teams exchanged field goals in the first overtime. And after consecutive runs by Gutierrez to start the second overtime, Bomar dropped back on third and 6 and found Iglesias in the right corner of the end zone.
MISSOURI 41, NEBRASKA 24: Brad Smith set a school record with 480 yards in total offense, ran for three scores and threw for another for the host Tigers. Smith had 246 yards rushing on 28 carries and was 21-for-36 for 234 yards. Missouri scored three touchdowns in 13 first-quarter plays in taking a 24-10 lead. But Nebraska used a blocked punt and fumble recovery deep in Missouri territory to tie it at 24 at halftime. Smith's 45-yard run in the third gave Missouri the lead back.
TEXAS A&M 30, KANSAS ST. 28: Reggie McNeal ran for 119 yards and a touchdown and threw for a touchdown for the visiting Aggies. His 5-yard pass to Chad Schroeder put A&M up 23-8 late in the third. Allan Evridge's 42-yard pass to Jermaine Moreira pulled the Wildcats to 23-21 with about eight minutes left. Jorvorskie Lane's second rushing touchdown, a 2-yarder, extended the lead. And after Evridge's 4-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson with 1:27 left, Schroeder recovered the onside kick.
COLORADO 44, KANSAS 13: Joel Klatt threw four touchdowns for the host Buffalos, becoming their career leader. Jason Swanson's 7-yard touchdown to Charles Gordon with 1:49 left in the first half ended the Jayhawks' string of 164:29 without a touchdown and pulled them to 16-13. But 2:57 into the third, Colorado's Brendan Schaub blocked a punt, and Domonique Brooks returned it 28 yards for a touchdown. Later in the quarter, Colorado holder ran 21 yards on a fake field goal, setting up Klatt's 3-yard touchdown to Joe Klopfenstein.
IOWA ST. 37, OKLAHOMA ST. 10: The host Cyclones intercepted Al Pena four times and recovered his fumble. Early in the fourth, DeAndre Jackson returned an interception to the Cowboys 28. Bret Meyer hit Walter Nickel for 27 yards then sneaked in to make it 30-10. About a minute later, LaMarcus Hicks got his second interception of the game. Iowa State capped the ensuing nine-play drive with Ryan Kock's 5-yard touchdown run.
