Jessalyn Leyra has been named a senior project manager at Collman & Karsky Architects, Tampa. Leyra was project architect/interior designer at Haynes Architects PA, Tampa.

Valerie Spellmeyer has been named an associate at WilderArchitecture, Tampa. Spellmeyer was special events coordinator at Jasper Engines and Transmissions, Jasper, Ind.

URS Corp., Tampa, announces these appointments : Allan Nagy, vice president; Dana Tallman, water/wastewater business line leader; and Scott Friedman, statewide statistics manager. Nagy was an environmental project manager; Tallman was a water/wastewater program manager at PBS&J, Tampa; and Friedman was a consultant to the Florida Turnpike Enterprise for PBS&J, Orlando.

Timothy W. Johnson has been named a senior project engineer at Atwell-Hicks, Tampa. Johnson was a project engineer at Florida Engineering and Environmental Services Inc., Tampa.

Jason Fox has been promoted to vice president of the retail banking line at SunTrust Bank, St. Petersburg. Fox was branch manager at SunTrust's 34th Street branch. Jean Duval has been named vice president/branch manager at Patriot Bank, Trinity. Duval was assistant vice president/branch manager at AmSouth Bank, New Port Richey.

Joyce Frustaci has been promoted to vice president of marketing at Market Street Mortgage, Clearwater. Frustaci was assistant vice president of marketing. David Levine has been named senior vice president of financial services at GunnAllen Financial, Tampa. Levine was a consultant at Ryan Beck & Co., New York.

Enola Brown is the recipient of the Stephens/Register Memorial Award for contributions of time and talent to the Environmental and Land Use Section of the Florida Bar. Brown has a private practice in Tampa and concentrates in the areas of soil and groundwater contamination issues.

Nicole C. Kibert has been elected to the executive council of the environmental and land use law section of the Florida Bar and is the recipient of the Council's Judy Florence Memorial Outstanding Service Award for her efforts with the Access to Justice Committee related to environmental justice. Kibert is an associate and a member of the real estate and mortgage financing practice group at the law firm of Carlton Fields, Tampa.
