Musical comedy act coming to Brookridge

BROOKRIDGE - Brookridge Entertainment will present the Shenanigans musical comedy act Nov. 10 at the Brookridge clubhouse, 8150 Hampton St.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show time will be 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 each and will be available at the door if not sold out in advance.

Signups coming up for Christmas assistance

BROOKSVILLE - The Salvation Army will take registrations for Christmas assistance for low-income families from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, through Nov. 4, at 15464 Cortez Blvd.

Those applying must be legal guardians or custodial parents with children younger than 12, be Hernando County residents and meet income guidelines. Required documentation includes picture ID for all adults, birth certificates for all children, Social Security cards for adults and children, proof of income, proof of expenses and proof of residency.

Polish-American club to hold dinner dance

HUDSON - The Polish American Social Club will host a Halloween/Polonia Dinner Dance on Sunday at the clubhouse, 7615 New Jersey Ave.

Doors open at 12:15 p.m. The dinner selection is traditional ham with kielbasy and pierogi or chicken, which will be served from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Dancing to the Music Blenders from 3 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for members and $11 for nonmembers and guests.

Garden club organizes Bunco Party fundraiser

SPRING HILL - The Spring Hill Garden Club will have a Bunco Party fundraiser at 1 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Senior Citizens Club of Hernando County on Rhanbuoy Road.

Admission is $7 per person. No experience is needed; instruction will be given on how to play Bunco. Snacks and coffee will be provided.

Prizes will be awarded and merchandise will be raffled throughout the afternoon. Call Bobbie Braun at 666-4422.
