DUNEDIN - A man used a knife to rob the CVS Pharmacy at 2175 Main St. on Sunday night, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Detectives think the man also robbed a CVS store at 30387 U.S. 19 N in Clearwater on July 7. The Sunday incident occurred about 11:20 p.m. when the man walked into the Dunedin store, threatened an employee with a black-handled kitchen knife and walked out with an undisclosed amount of Oxycodone and OxyContin, detectives said. A witness told detectives the man threw a large knife into a dark-colored Toyota Camry before driving away. Officials described the suspect as a clean-shaven, 23-year-old white male, with a fair complexion and short, straight strawberry-blond hair, about 5 feet 10 and 160 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown and tan ball cap, a black T-shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (727) 582-6200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
