WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Lightning is 1-1 in the second game of a back-to-back. ... The Thrashers are coming off an embarrassing 7-5 loss to the previously winless Penguins in which Atlanta led 4-0. ... LW Ilya Kovalchuk has three goals and four assists in his past three games. ... The Thrashers entered Friday with the league's worst penalty kill (74.1 percent) and second-worst on the road (66.6). ... Atlanta was the league's most-penalized team with an average 27.4 minutes. ... The Lightning is 4-1-1 against the Southeast. The Thrashers are 2-2-0.
