Are your driving skills due for a checkup?

Age is not the sole indicator that it's time for a senior to quit driving. Other impairments, such as incorrect signaling, trouble making turns, getting lost in familiar places and failing to see traffic lights, can indicate that it's time to get help.
You can learn more about how to assess your driving skills by registering for one of the AARP driver safety programs.
The classes are open to drivers older than 50. Eligible graduates may earn discounts on insurance rates. The cost is $10 a person. To locate a class near you, choose from the list below or call toll-free 1-888-227-7669 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday; or visit www aarp.org/drive.
