Getting advice, paying the price

IF ONLY SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BE RICH AND FAMOUS, THIS WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM: Having invited the whole world to be the nosy neighbor who likes to gossip about her marriage drove Jessica Simpson to see a therapist this year.
She's a big fan of professional help. "I respect knowledge of the psyche," she says in a question-and-answer piece on www.teenpeople.com. In fact, if she wasn't a pop culture conglomerate, "I would be a therapist."
She doesn't talk about what she talked about with the unnamed therapist. She does admit to helping create her problems. She and husband Nick Lachey "set ourselves up to be gawked at" with their MTV reality show Newlyweds, but she doesn't regret it because "anybody in the entertainment business who says they don't want fans is lying."
AND THE TAX ALWAYS HAS TO BE PAID: Orlando Bloom believes in self-help when it comes to relationship rumors. He's brushing off talk that he and Elizabethtown co-star Kirsten Dunst are as cuddly in private as they have been in public at the movie's various premieres, saying celebrities should just suck it up and deal with gossip because it's the "price you pay for a great job and lifestyle, like tax."
Bloom, who has been recently seen cuddling in nonprofessional situations with on-off girlfriend Kate Bosworth, is big on personal responsibility in general. He also says in an item at www.contactmusic.com that if he were having an affair, he'd admit it: "It's your choice, and you accept it when you're caught."
AT LEAST SHE HUNG AROUND LONG ENOUGH TO GET AN OSCAR DATE: Reports are pouring in from all over that the on-off pairing of Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel Giselle Bundchen is off for good. Most say that she finally got tired of Leo; the why is any or all of several reasons (he hangs out with his posse too much, he'll always look like her little brother ...).
E! Online says that Leo is very upset but that Giselle already has a new hookup, pro surfer Kelly Slater, described as a "friend to supermodels everywhere" by a story at www.transworldsurf.com It's hard to say which is the better option based solely on their "ready for action" poses.
FREE ADVICE, FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH: Britney, girl, wearing a T-shirt that says "Don't be mad at me when I'm mad at you" while out with your husband is not the way to silence rumblings that your marriage is fulfilling those prophecies of doom.
That was a sight from last weekend reported by Star magazine in one of the latest state of the Spears -Kevin Federline union stories. Those interested only in expressing pain similar to Britney's via T, go to www.bellegray.net)
Meanwhile, Shar Jackson, the woman Federline dumped for Spears while Jackson was pregnant with their second child, tells Us Weekly that she could have told Spears what to expect. For example, "Kevin was there for (their first child) every single day of her life until I told him to go out and get a job."
