Sexual battery charge against man, 56, dropped

ST. PETERSBURG - The Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney's Office has dropped a sexual battery case against a St. Petersburg man, saying an investigation concluded the "facts and circumstances revealed do not warrant prosecution."
William D. Jewell, 56, of 4705 First St. NE, was arrested in August and accused of attacking a 39-year-old woman.
