Big glass of nouveau.
Today's the day for a first taste of the 2005 wine vintage, especially the cheery cherry flavors fresh from Beaujolais. If Beaujolais nouveau is not serious wine to you, you're too serious for it. Raise a glass for fun in wine shops and restaurants or take a bottle home (they sell for $8 to $12). Look for "new" 2005 wines from California and Italy, too. If you like the 2005, it's a fine match for the harvest table on Thanksgiving.
