LARGO - A 46-year-old mother of three was charged with child neglect after authorities say she didn't get medical treatment for one son who had been stabbed by another son, police said Thursday.

Ingrid Gloria Richmond was not home Tuesday evening when her 11-year-old son stabbed his 14-year-old brother in the arm, Largo police said. When Richmond returned home, she didn't seek treatment for the wound, they said. The injured boy went to school Wednesday and was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg with an infection, Officer Paula Crosby said. Richmond, who remained in Pinellas County Jail on Thursday in lieu of $10,000 bail, could not be reached for comment.
