CENTENNIAL OPERA GROUP will view a video of Jacque Offenbach's Les Contes D'Hoffman (The Tales of Hoffman) at 12:30 p.m. today at Centennial Library, 5740 Moog Road, 1.2 miles east of U.S. 19, Holiday. The production is by the Royal Opera and stars Placido Domingo as Hoffman and Luciana Serra, Agnes Baltsa and Ileana Cotrubas as the objects of his affection.

THE HUDSON SEAFEST continues today through Sunday in the open area behind the USA Fleamarket (turn west by Perkins Restaurant at State Road 52 and U.S. 19 in Bayonet Point and follow the signs). Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. today; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be a carnival, food vendors, including the Hudson Seafest grouper plates, arts and crafts, and ongoing live entertainment.

"THE WIZARD OF OZ,' a musical, will be presented by Arts in Motion Community Youth Theatre/Arts Education Inc., at 7 p.m. today, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Center for the Arts at Wesley Chapel High School, 30651 Wells Road, Wesley Chapel. THE MUSICAL "FINIAN'S RAINBOW' continues through Sunday at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Shows are at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. THE SERTOMA YOUTH RANCH THANKSGIVING WEEKEND BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL will be Thursday through Nov. 27 at the ranch off Clay Hill Road halfway between Dade City and Brooksville. Performers include the James King Band, Reno Tradition, Pine Mountain RR, Carolina Road Band, Vince Combs and others. Hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday $8; noon to 11 p.m. Nov. 25 and 26 ($20); and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 27 ($12). Ages 12-16 get in for $3 per day or $7 for Nov. 25-27. Children under 12 are admitted free, when accompanied by an adult. Camping is available at an extra cost. Food will be available. Those who attend should bring folding chairs. "ONCOLOGY ON CANVAS: EXPRESSIONS OF A WOMAN'S CANCER JOURNEY' concludes today at the Florida Cancer Institute, 8763 River Crossing Blvd., New Port Richey. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 50 pieces, chosen from more than 400 entrants from 23 countries around the world, have been on a world tour since they were first exhibited in 2004 at the Royal College of Art in London.

"C5 - TAKE FIVE' exhibit at Progress Energy Art Gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey, continues through Nov. 26. Artists are Anne Connellan (mixed abstract still life); Donna Frost (abstracts); Martha-Anne Garabedian (Florida nature); Julie Messerschmidt (florals); and Chuck Shapler (marine scenes). Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

"HOLIDAY HOUSE' AND ART QUILTS by Teddy Pruett continue through Dec. 23 at Pasco Arts Council's art center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Holiday House has tree ornaments and one-of-a-kind pottery, paintings, quilts, jewelry and other handmade items for show and sale. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

THE WEST PASCO QUILTERS' GUILD INC. is exhibiting small to king-sized quilts in "Home Is Where the Heart Is" through Wednesday at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. (Alt. 19; with clock tower on top). Exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Children's quilting activities will be taught from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. (Parents must stay with their children during the entire session.) There will be an ongoing quilt auction.

GREEK ORTHODOX ICON PAINTINGS by Nikos Kypraios remain on exhibit through Jan. 8 at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs (a half mile west of U.S. 19). Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. THE WILL McLEAN BEST NEW FLORIDA SONG CONTEST will accept entries until Dec. 31. The lyrics must be about some aspect of Florida - its history, heritage, land, sky, water or critters including human. They can be serious, romantic, comical or inspirational and in any music style. Each writer can submit up to three songs.
