Since allowing 21 points in a season-opening loss to Hillsborough, Armwood has given up an average of only four points a game.

Plant is unbeaten this season when it has scored more than 21.

Winter Haven's three defeats are to teams - Lakeland, Armwood and Lakeland Lake Gibson - that are a combined 29-4. Winter Haven lost those games by an average of 35-10.

Jefferson and Winter Haven have played one common opponent - Armwood. The Hawks beat Jefferson 28-9 and topped Winter Haven 42-0.

Jefferson has scored 28 or more eight times. It went 8-0 in those games.

Count the South Carolina Gamecocks among the many major colleges now said to be recruiting Chamberlain running back Kylan Robinson, who burst onto the scene with 402-yard yard effort Oct. 14 against Alonso.

Riverview gave up 35 points in its opener, but the Sharks have allowed more than 20 points in a game just twice since.

Palm Beach Lakes' defense has surrendered 10 or fewer points six times.

During its current six-game win streak, Lakeland Lake Gibson has won by an average score of 33-9 and posted three shutouts.

Plant last won a second-round playoff game in 1978.
