Felix and Oscar, those two mismatched roommates who somehow manage to bring out the best (and worst) in each other, come to the stage in a community theater production of The Odd Couple.

The Neil Simon comedy will be presented this weekend at the West Citrus Community Center on Veterans Drive off U.S. 19, just north of Homosassa Springs. The play is produced by Gulf Islands Civic Theatre.

Sloppy sports writer Oscar Madison is played by Larry Blanken (president of Gulf Islands board of directors), and Felix Unger is played by Jim Farley (president of the Playhouse 19 board of directors).

The rest of the cast is Gwendolyn Pigeon (Rhoda Kylis), Cecily Pigeon (Jeanne Loehle), Murray (Kevyn Arms), Vinnie (Ron Smith), Roy (Edwin Martin) and Speed (Dee Forsyth).
