CENTENNIAL OPERA GROUP: A video of Jacques Offenbach's Les Contes D'Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann) at 12:30 p.m. today at Centennial Library, 5740 Moog Road, 1.2 miles east of U.S. 19, Holiday. The production is by the Royal Opera and stars Placido Domingo as Hoffmann and Luciana Serra, Agnes Baltsa and Ileana Cotrubas as the objects of his affection.

"MY FAIR LADY': The musical will be at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St. E, Tarpon Springs. Performances are 8 p.m. today and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $16, with a $2 discount for center members and students, all reserved seating. Call 942-5605.

AN EVENING WITH THE AUTHORS: Florida authors and artist illustrators will autograph their books at "An Evening With the Authors" from 7 to 9:30 tonight at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 N Osceola Ave. Complimentary wine and refreshments will be available. BRIDAL EVENT: The Dunedin Historical Society will present a 35th anniversary celebration of Andrews Memorial Chapel at Hammock Park, Dunedin, Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 per day. There will be an exhibit of vintage bridal clothing and a slide show of the chapel's history on Saturday. Sunday's events include a tea with wedding vendors. A renewal of wedding vows ceremony for historical society members will also be Sunday from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Call 736-1176.

SONGS OF THE SEASON: The Clearwater Chorus presents "Songs of the Season" on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. The show is directed by Dr. Johnny Ray Jones, accompaniment by Maritta Rostron. Tickets are $15, with discounts for groups larger than 15. Call 791-7400.

SASO AND LEBOWITZ EXHIBIT: An exhibit of the work of Frank Saso and Jack Lebowitz will open with a reception at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Imago Art Group, 464 Douglas Ave., Dunedin. The gallery's holiday sales event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the following day.

"NUTCRACKER' PERFORMANCE: American Dance Academy's production of The Nutcracker will be presented at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 3 and 4 at the Largo Cultural Center. Guest artists include George Callahan from New York, who is currently performing with the Grand Diva Ballet and other companies. Austin Finley and Danny Johnson, both of Florida, also will perform as guest artists. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for groups of 10 or more and $12 for students. JURIED ART SHOW: The 15th annual Juried Art Show is Dec. 9-30 at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave., Tarpon Springs. Opening reception is from 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 9. Shirley Talmadge is to judge the show.

THE WEST PASCO QUILTERS' GUILD INC.: An exhibit of small to king-sized quilts in "Home Is Where the Heart Is" through Wednesday at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. (Alt. 19; with clock tower on top), Tarpon Springs. Exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Children's quilting activities will be taught from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. (Parents must stay with their children during the entire session.) There will be an ongoing quilt auction.

GREEK ORTHODOX ICON PAINTINGS: Paintings by Nikos Kypraios are on display through Jan. 8 at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs (a half-mile west of U.S. 19). Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $5 adults, $4 seniors and free to children and students with ID. Sunday is free to everyone.
