Since allowing 21 points in a season-opening loss to Hillsborough, Armwood has given up an average of only four points a game.

Plant is unbeaten this season when it has scored more than 21.

Winter Haven's three defeats are to teams - Lakeland, Armwood and Lakeland Lake Gibson - that are a combined 29-4. Winter Haven lost those games by an average of 35-10.

Jefferson and Winter Haven have played one common opponent - Armwood. The Hawks beat Jefferson 28-9 and topped Winter Haven 42-0.

Jefferson has scored 28 or more eight times. It went 8-0 in those games.

During its current six-game win streak, Lakeland Lake Gibson has won by an average score of 33-9 and posted three shutouts.

Plant last won a second-round playoff game in 1978.
